Meet Renee

Welcome to Anchored Roots LLC. I’m Renee Hope, an MSW-level social worker with over 14 years of experience and a mother of three. At Anchored Roots, I blend professional expertise with real-life parenting. In addition to working with families in crisis and supporting those navigating challenging dynamics, I also remember the sleepless nights with newborns and the tantrums at the park. Based in Wilmington, NC, I offer one-on-one parenting sessions both in-person and virtually, as well as group parenting classes. Parenting doesn’t come with a manual, but with the right support, it can feel more manageable, and even joyful.

I believe strong families grow from strong foundations. My parenting philosophy is rooted in empathy, communication, and consistency. Whether you are facing toddler tantrums, teenage transitions, or co-parenting challenges, my classes and coaching sessions offer practical, research-based tools to help you move forward with confidence. I meet families where they are, with compassion, cultural humility, a judgment-free approach and a touch of “tell it like it is.”
